Pirkey Barber PLLC swept the trademark-focused Firm of the Year honors for the Southern United States in the 2021 Managing IP Awards, highlighting the firm’s stature as a go-to trademark firm for prominent companies across the country.
In this year’s Americas Awards, Pirkey Barber won Firm of the Year, U.S. Trademark Contentious – South, for the fifth time since 2013, plus its second consecutive and third overall recognition as Firm of the Year, U.S. Trademark Prosecution – South. It also was shortlisted for National Firm of the Year – Trademark Contentious, which it has previously won twice.
In addition to Pirkey Barber’s firmwide accolades and nominations in this year’s Managing IP Awards, Member Travis Wimberly was a finalist for Practitioner of the Year (Litigation) – Texas, recognizing his extensive experience litigating IP disputes.
Now in their 16th year, the Managing IP Awards are presented annually by Managing Intellectual Property magazine to honor the firms that handled the past year’s most innovative and challenging IP work.
