U.S. News – Best Lawyers® Awards Pirkey Barber Tier 1 Rankings in Trademark Law, Copyright Law, and IP Litigation in the Austin Metropolitan Area for the Sixth Consecutive Year

Law firms included in the 2020 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” are recognized for professional excellence with consistently impressive ratings from clients and peers alike. We are thrilled to announce that this year, Pirkey Barber has been named as an Austin Metropolitan Area Tier 1 law firm in three distinct categories: 1) Intellectual Property Litigation, 2) Copyright Law, 3) and Trade Mark Law.

Receiving a Tier 1 designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for its abilities, its professionalism, and its integrity. Achieving a tiered ranking reflects a combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise. The 2020 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firm and client votes received on record, including 16,000 lawyers providing 1,229,000 law firm assessments, and more than 12,000 clients providing 107,000 evaluations.

Firms also qualify for “Best Law Firm” rankings through individual lawyer recognitions in The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top 5% of private practicing lawyers in the country. Among this year’s Best Lawyers Austin, Texas are eleven Pirkey Barber attorneys — more than one-third of the firm’s total lawyers.

Pirkey Barber Management Committee member Chris Kindel noted: “This is the sixth consecutive year our firm has been recognized in these three core areas of our practice.” Kindel continued: “Creating total client trust, satisfaction and loyalty is at the core of our mission.” He went on to say: “We could never have maintained such high marks without the absolute dedication of all of our legal and professional staff, who remain steadfastly committed to and focused on providing the best possible advice throughout the region and across the country.”
