Texas Bar Foundation Elects Dan Noonan to Elite Group of Fellows

Dan Noonan, Senior Counsel at Pirkey Barber, has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. The Fellows are a nonpareil group within the Texas Bar Foundation that includes the top one-third of one percent of practicing attorneys annually. Criteria for selection as a Fellow is based upon an outstanding record in the legal profession, as well as a proven commitment to supporting the community at large. Election to the Texas Bar Foundation Fellows is among the highest honors bestowed upon a member of the State Bar of Texas.

On his selection as a 2019 Fellow, Noonan commented: “I am humbled to be listed among this year’s Texas Bar Foundation Fellows, and remain steadfastly committed to serving my clients and colleagues alike, as well as the community in which I live and work.”

Notably, Dan Noonan focuses his practice on the oversight and protection of trademarks, copyrights, domain names, IP licenses, acquisitions, joint ventures, litigation management, sponsorship agreements, and related transactional matters. He represents clients in registration matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and handles disputes including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and domain name arbitrations. Having served as the Vice President for Brands, Marketing and Sales Operations and Associate General Counsel for Fortune 500 companies, Dan delivers hands-on experience when it comes to the impact of corporate policies on trademarks and copyrights, as well as litigation strategy involving brand retention, acquisition, litigation, and management.
