Pirkey Barber is proud to have been honored once again with the highest ranking for the Austin area in the 2019 Edition of US News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” by Woodward/White, Inc.
The publication ranked the firm as “Tier 1” in the Austin area in three practice areas: Trademark Law, Copyright Law, and Litigation – Intellectual Property Law. This is the fifth consecutive year that Pirkey Barber has received the Tier 1 Ranking in all three practice areas.
The rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from attorneys that are leaders in their field, and a review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. According to Best Lawyers, this year’s evaluations include more than 1,125,000 law firm assessments from over 16,000 attorneys, and over 107,000 evaluations from 12,000 clients.
Receiving a Tier 1 designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for its abilities, its professionalism, and its integrity.
