Pirkey Barber Adds Two New Attorneys, Dan Noonan and Giulio Yaquinto

Pirkey Barber PLLC is pleased to announce that attorneys Dan Noonan and Giulio Yaquinto have joined the firm.

Mr. Noonan’s practice focuses on oversight and protection of trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. He counsels his clients regarding protection in joint ventures, acquisitions, sponsorship agreements, and related transactional issues. Mr. Noonan represents clients in registration matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and handles disputes including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and domain name arbitrations. His work includes negotiating license agreements, developing trademark strategies, performing due diligence for trademarks involved in corporate transactions, and advising clients concerning copyright issues and truth in advertising.

Mr. Noonan joins Pirkey Barber after working as the Vice President for Brands, Marketing and Sales Operations for a Fortune 100 company, and as the Associate General Counsel for a Fortune 500 company. He is experienced in developing corporate policies regarding policing and litigation strategies for trademarks and copyrights and related brand retention and litigation management.

Mr. Noonan earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific’s McGregor School of Law in 1985.

 

 

Mr. Yaquinto earned his J.D. with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2017, where he was an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review. Before beginning his career at Pirkey Barber, Mr. Yaquinto served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kathleen Cardone in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Prior to law school, Mr. Yaquinto received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Texas and worked as a graphic designer for four years. His practice will focus on trademark and copyright litigation matters.
