Super Lawyers® identifies outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this Super Lawyers honor. The Rising Star honor is reserved for attorneys under the age of 40 who have practiced fewer than 10 years and is bestowed on just 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys each year.
