Pirkey Barber PLLC is pleased to announce that Super Lawyers®, a Thomson Reuters Service, has selected attorneys Bill Barber, Wendy Larson, Steve Meleen, and Lou Pirkey for inclusion in the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers list in the Trademarks category. In addition, Pirkey Barber is pleased to announce that Super Lawyers® honored attorney Jered Matthysse with inclusion in the 2016 Texas Rising Stars list in the Trademarks category.
Super Lawyers® identifies outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this Super Lawyers honor. The Rising Star honor is reserved for attorneys under the age of 40 who have practiced fewer than 10 years and is bestowed on just 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys each year.
