Biography

Allison McDade joined PirkeyBarber in October 2008. She has experience in all areas of trademark and Internet law, including transactional, administrative and litigation experience. Allison specializes in enforcement and domain name issues.  In her spare time, she created an iPhone application (Parent Prep School) for expecting parents that aims to take away the anxiety from those 40 weeks and beyond.

Prior to joining PirkeyBarber, Allison worked as Trademark Counsel for Dell Inc. Additionally, she was a briefing attorney for then Texas Supreme Court Justice Greg Abbott and then later worked in the intellectual property section at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.

Allison is a graduate of the University of North Texas and earned her J.D. with high honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 1999, where she was a Chancellor, a member of the Texas Law Review, and elected to the Order of the Coif.
